Programatically reading / writing Google Hangouts SMS -


how can read , respond sms messages google hangouts number programmatically? have read lot of conflicting information whether or not it's possible use jabber / xmpp google hangouts, , so-called "hangouts api" seems work creating google app , not meant use of 1 person. want work current google account, creating new google app not option.
