How can I debug FireFox when it won't load local add-on? -


i'm working on browser extension/add-on. have working in chrome, i'm trying working in firefox.

when try load in current version of firefox visiting about:debugging , selecting manifest.json on mac 47.0.1, silently fails.

i've found success installing firefoxdeveloperedition, there way?
